Having served on the Religious Forum, Housing, Environmental committees as well as the Multi Party Women Caucus, Grant-in-Aid, social transformation and infrastructure task team – this councillor is no new comer to politics. Listing as what she wants to achieve during her term of office, is being involved in programmes of educating communities about policies and processes of service delivery, the municipality and the government. In addition she was to help educate the youth and give them direction and she wants to look at assisting the disabled and aiding them to train and make a living, to name a few. Her involvement in politics dates to when she was a tender nine-years-old in the Dukathole location when her mother and sisters marched the streets in protest of the passes, but it was only in 1990 that she became active in politics.
