Morongoe Ndebele served on the community safety committee while previously a councillor at Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (2006 – 2011). The Katlehong resident lists getting involved in politics when she started working, by joining the union MAWU to fight for working conditions and ‘to fight for my rights’. As a councillor she wants to see the community live in a healthy environment and that services are delivered to the community.
