LLB student Cliff Patterson has been a councillor since 2000 with corporate and city development portfolios committees that he has been involved in. “I have been an activist since 1972, protesting apartheid and one vote for all and even opportunities for each resident on this country,” is Clr Patterson’s explanation on how he became involved in politics. In 1986 he joined a political party to continue his political aspirations. His achievements planned for this term of office are to do his portfolio work honestly and to the best of his abilities and to uplift the plight of the poor and to them hope. He aims to also service his constituents and party.
