Hoping to bring change to the lives of the people of Ekurhuleni and be a part of government that not only cares but delivers optimally to the betterment of the region is what Clr Xhakaza hopes to achieve during his term of office. This councillor also aims to represent young people in council and uphold the values and principles of the ANC and ensure proper oversight to achieve best deliverables, and to develop himself to be a better leader. This management accountant at Siemans LTD sports a national diploma in Cost and Management Accounting from the Vaal University of Technology and is currently studying towards a BTech in Cost and Management Accounting. His involvement in politics goes back to 1996 while in high school when Clr Xhakaza lead COSAS and the SRC, following through into his tertiary education with leading SASCO and serving on the SRC and other institutional structures of governance. He has also led the ANCYL until regional chairpersonship and ANC at branch level. Xhakaza brings a vast experience with him from the private sector from junior level to managerial that will determine and further advance the council to deliver to its citizens.
