Interested and deserving institutions and organisations within Ekurhuleni that make a difference

in their communities through upliftment and developmental projects that are in line with the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality’s priorities are encouraged to apply for the annual Grants-in-Aid.

To further its fight against high unemployment and poverty levels in the region the metro annually offers municipal grants to community organisations ranging from educational institutions, social development and charitable institutions, provincially and nationally affiliated local sporting bodies and more.

“We are appealing to all applicants that have a focus that aligns itself to Council’s broad strategic vision and priorities to apply and partner with the municipality to drive social change and economic development in our communities,” metro’s spokesperson, Justice Mohale points out.

Grants-in-Aid application forms are available at all offices of the Corporate and Legal Services Department in Alberton, Benoni, Boksburg, Brakpan, Edenvale, Germiston, Kempton Park, Nigel, Springs; the Head Office in Germiston and all ward committee offices.
