KEMPTON PARK RESIDENTS GIVEN GRACE PERIOD TO COLLECT 240ℓ WHEELIE BINS

The City's Department of Environmental Resources and Waste Management Services has completed the roll out of 240ℓ wheelie bins in the Kempton Park area.

However, in order to ensure wide distribution of waste bins and effective waste collection, all residents who missed the initial mass roll out of the 240ℓ wheelie bins are urged to collect theirs no later than 30 June 2018. The bins can be collected from the Kempton Park Waste Management Depot, Cnr H Lewis and Kelvin roads, Spartan, Monday to Friday from 8h00 to 16h00 and on Saturday from 08h00 to 15h00.

The grace period for collection began on Monday, 9 April. When collecting, residents must bring along a copy of their ID and municipal account statement.

Residents who make use of the bins are urged to place bins outside their homes no later than 7am on waste collection calendar days provided by the city.
