The City of Ekurhuleni is calling for nominations of outstanding young achievers as part of the Ekurhuleni 50 Shining Stars of 2018 programme.
These under-35s, who either work or live in Ekurhuleni, and who stand out and show great promise in their chosen fields.
Any person, or organisation, may nominate a young person who is considered an achiever in any of these categories:
- Science & Technology
- Business/Industry/Financial services
Deadline for nominations is 18 May. Nomination forms can be obtained from any of the customer service centres in the City or you can access the nomination form online either through www.ekurhuleni.gov.za or www.insideeducation.org. Completed nomination forms must be emailed through to
The Ekurhuleni Shining Stars is a partnership between the City and Inside Education, a digital education publication, for Youth Month 2018.
Fifty shining stars will be recognised for their achievements in the different categories during Youth Month. For this to happen, you need to nominate a person in any of the categories. Once nominations are received, a verification process will be done to ensure that the information provided by candidates is correct, reliable and look for any evidence supporting the candidate.
