Online Recruitment Applicant Assistance Manual

The City no longer accepts manual submissions of job applications at customer care centres and human resources offices.  
Online submissions replaces the time consuming manual process and enables the City to fasttrack the whole recruitment process.  
All vacancies in the City are advertised on the website:

  • You need an e-mail address when applying for a position in the City.
  • Be sure to review the profile you created for correctness and spelling errors on the review page before submitting.
  • Ensure that you have uploaded the correct version of your CV and any other supporting documents.
  • Be sure to enter additional information requested as legislated by local government (where applicable). 
  • Be sure to capture all relevant information on your profile, as all information will be sourced from the actual online application form and not the CV.
