ENTRY EXTENSION FOR THE 2025 UMSIZI NOPENDE VISUAL ART PROJECT

 Submission of entries for the 2025 Umsizi no Pende Visual Art Project will remain open until 16h00 on Friday, 31 January 2025.

 Artists are still invited to enter the by submitting their best artwork. Artists eligible to enter must be 21 years or older, must be residents of Gauteng province, and proof of residence may be requested.

The Umsizi noPende visual art project aims to hone the artistic skills of aspirant artists across the City by giving them a professional platform to showcase their work and in return, receive prize money to the value of up to R20 000.

A maximum of two artworks per artist may be entered, all entries must be submitted online at https://forms.gle/huUKwuWQFYy7CUR66  

Entries must be in the following artistic contemporary expressions only:

• Painting;

• Printmaking;

• Drawing;

• Mixed media collage; and

• Photography.
