International Film Festival to Recognize, Empower Film Industry Greats

INTERNATIONAL-FILM-FESTIVAL

The City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with Rhythm Cycles will this year host the third instalment of the Ekurhuleni International Film Festival (EIFF) at the Springs theatre.

The film industry is part of the development of creative industries – an initiative by the City of Ekurhuleni. As such, the city and its partners will host the festival to empower local and international filmmakers by providing them with vital filmmaking skills, creating networking opportunities with local and international broadcasters.

The third EIFF will start from the 20 June to the 23 June with screenings and industry workshops at the Springs Theatre.

The Ekurhuleni International Film Festival daily schedule is as follows:

A selection committee, which has viewed over 2000 short films, has chosen the films to be screened at the festival.

The final award evening is on 23 June 2019, at the Springs Civic Theatre starting at 18:00.
