APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025 CONTRACTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME NOW OPEN

The City of Ekurhuleni invites contractors to apply for the Contractor Development Programme aimed at empowering them with the necessary skills to expand their businesses and strengthen the region’s construction industry.

Applications are now open to all contractors registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Grades 1 to 5. This highly competitive programme will select only 50 contractors to participate in one of three targeted development streams:

  • Emerging Contractor Development Programme (CIDB Grades 1–2)
  • Contractor Development Incubator Programme (CIDB Grades 3–4)
  • Contractor Improvement Programme (CIDB Grade 5)

Successful applicants will benefit from hands-on experience through the city’s infrastructure projects, specialised business and technical training, and ongoing mentorship programmes from industry leaders.
