Who Delegates Gives Ekurhuleni the Thumbs Up

The City welcomed a delegation from the World Health Organisation (WHO) that visited the Katlehong North Clinic to assess the City’s response to #Covid-19, as well as its state of readiness ahead of the predicted second wave.

Member of Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Health and Social Development Cllr Nomadlozi Nkosi received the delegation with open arms to the health facility.

“We are pleased to receive visitors from WHO to see the precautionary measures we have in place to ensure the safety of our residents.

“All hands are on deck to prevent the devastating effects that may come with the second wave. Our health practitioners are working with due diligence at healthcare facilities throughout the City,” said MMC Nkosi.

Delegates from WHO, led by Dr Owen Kaluaa, were pleased to see the infection and prevention   control measures in place and commended Ekurhuleni for complying with the Covid-19 guidelines.
