CITY TO HOST TRADITIONAL DANCE AND MUSIC COMPETITION

The City of Ekurhuleni is calling on school children, who are passionate about traditional dance and music to come and showcase their skills on stage for various coveted prizes when the city hosts the Traditional Dance and Music Competition at the Germiston Stadium, on Wednesday, 27 September 2023.

School groups from Grade 3 to Grade 11 are legible to participate in the competition. The groups must have proof of previous performances and be willing to take their talent to the next level.

To enter, each group must submit a two-minute video of their current work to CoEArts@ekurhuleni.gov.za by 16h00 on Friday, 15 September 2023. Include group/school name, contact details and address.

The festival/competition will take place as follows:
