Doors in all libraries in the City are wide open and ready to welcome learners who want to use library facilities in the 2025 school calendar year.

From the January until May libraries across the City will be opening between 08h00 and 16h00 from Monday to Friday, and on every first Saturday of the month from 08h00 until 13h00.

During June exam times all our libraries will be open every Saturday from 08h00 until 13h00 and there after back to every first Saturday of the month.

In November libraries will again open every Saturday from 08h00 until 13h00 to allow learners to prepare and study for exams.

Our libraries consist of study spaces, charging stations, public access computers, internet access as well as toy libraries.
