MAYOR LEADS PUBLIC CONSULTATION PROCESS
Ekurhuleni Executive Mayor, Councillor Mzwandile Masina and his mayoral committee members will reach out to the communities in the next two days to have conversations about progress concerning service delivery in the city.
Residents will reflect their aspirations to the leadership of the city on various matters from today, (May 30 until May 31.
The Izimbizo is a programme used by government representatives to account to communities on the work they are doing while also consulting communities for inputs in terms of taking the city forward.
The Mayoral Izimbizo programme has been top priority for Masina who came into office in 2016. Every year rounds of these community sessions have been hosted since then.
Members of the Mayoral Committee will be spread throughout the city, a number of Izimbizo sittings are lined up for the two days, with the Executive Mayor visiting KwaThema on the first day.
