About Information Communication & Technology (ICT)
It’s a given that the City of Ekurhuleni is also well on its way to being a digital city; made possible by a dynamic ICT Department that strives to provide a stable information technology infrastructure and ensure optimal functioning of internal systems.
Of course, making sure that the City is mSCOA compliant is an added factor that this department plays a major role in, something that it does full steam ahead.
Did you know that ICT refers to technologies that provide access to information through telecommunications? It is similar to Information Technology (IT), but focuses primarily on communication technologies. This includes the Internet, wireless networks, cell phones, and other communication mediums.
