Human Resources Department

An HR department is responsible for hiring and firing employees, training workers, maintaining interoffice relations, law compliance, payroll, record keeping and employee relations. The City’s HR department is no different.  It is important for any organisation to articulate an HR vision and mission that provides strategic direction.

The wellbeing of employees is important – a healthy and happy workforce makes for a healthy and happy working environment that will have a positive effect on service delivery.

Employee Relations

Maintaining harmonious working relations and effective and efficient workplace structure is the function of this division.

Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partnering

Functional Line Services ensures an effective “one stop” partnership interface for departments through the deployment of human resources generalist.
