Whether you’re an aspiring puppeteer, a seasoned artist, or someone simply curious about the magic of puppetry, the Puppetry Theatre Masterclass promises an enriching and immersive experience. Under the guidance of Busisiwe Zokufa, this masterclass takes place on 19 January 2024 from 09h30 to 12h30 at Dumisani Masilela Theatre in Germiston.

Busisiwe is known for her roles in television productions such as Generations, Emzini Wezinsizwa, Home Affairs, Stokvel and Khayalethu, and gained international acclaim for her exceptional contributions to puppetry. Her journey in the arts has seen her perform at the Market Theatre and the Grahamstown Festival in 1992. Her passion for puppeteering has not only earned her recognition in South Africa but has seen her tour in New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland, Norway, France, Germany, Colombia and Hong Kong.

Participants in the Puppetry Theatre Masterclass will explore both fundamental and advanced puppetry skills, guided by Busisiwe.
