CITY OF EKURHULENI METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY
INTENTION TO INCUR LONG-TERM DEBT
INFORMATION STATEMENT
In accordance with section 46(3)(a)(i) and (ii) of the Local Government: Municipal Finance
Management Act (No.56 of 2003), read in conjunction with section 21A of the Municipal Systems Act (No. 32 of 2000), the City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (the City) hereby makes public an information statement setting out particulars of proposed long-term debt that the City intends to incur. The salient features of the debt are as follows:

Coupon (fixed/floating) interest rate and capital will be payable semi-annually in arrears |
Anticipated costs |
The anticipated total cost in connection with the proposed debt over the repayment period can only be determined at a later stage. |

INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENTS
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality invites written comments or representations from the public, National Treasury and the Gauteng Provincial Treasury in respect of the proposed debt. Comments should be directed to:
