Load Shedding Schedules

Load shedding in the City is implemented as per the schedule provided by Eskom (Ekurhuleni Load Shedding Schedule)

For ease of understanding, and to follow the tabulated load shedding schedule, customers need to combine the day of the month with the start and end times of the set stage to determine if their area will be loadshed, and the duration thereof.

If, for example, Eskom announces stage 1 of load shedding, it means only one shaded block of areas will be affected. If stage 2 is announced, areas highlighted in stage 1 and 2 will apply.
