Community Empowerment

Gauteng Department of Economic Development (GDED) in partnership with Pernod Ricard and the City of Ekurhuleni is offering an opportunity to support new, start-up and existing businesses.

The partnership aims to provide incubation facilities and accredited skills training for aspiring entrepreneurs with a passion for woodwork and furniture manufacturing.

Individuals with an idea of starting a furniture manufacturing business but require guidance or have an existing furniture manufacturing business but do not have access to working equipment and mentorship are invited to join us at an open day information session.

“This invitation does not constitute a job offer, however, affords aspiring entrepreneurs an opportunity to be assisted in realising their dreams of having their own business or growing an existing furniture manufacturing business,” says the Department.

The presentation will be in English and is strictly directed at people who are interested in in starting their own business or have their own businesses in furniture making, built in cupboards, kitchens, upholstery

Preference will be given to Thokoza and Katlehong residents

Interested individuals are invited to attend a compulsory information session to be held as follows:

Venue: Tshabalala Church Hall, 1464 Nkaki Street Thokoza
