Check Vehicle Information Before Purchasing Using The Online App

At a small fee, you can dig into the history of the vehicle you intend to buy and ensure everything is on before committing your money – thanks to First Check which is South Africa’s first vehicle valuation and verification app.

The apps give you access to verification information of the pre-owned vehicle you want to buy such as registration and even information on theft. This way you won’t find any surprises when trying to register a vehicle that has been reported stolen. The apps also show whether the car is being financed, ie it is legally owned by a financial institution.

Both apps can be downloaded on either Android or iOS phones.

FirstCheck has a direct link to the South African Police Service database. With the history of the car you intend to buy you will know exactly which documents to present to the registration authority to get your newly acquired car registered. But that is not all.  First Check’s valuation function gives you access to information such as the market value of the car that you want to buy.

Apart from price, you can also access crucial information on the car that you cannot decipher by looking. Inconsistencies in-car information may cause you to get a raw deal on the car. Factors like discrepancies between the manufacturer’s specifications and the actual state of the second-hand car come to light in the valuation report. This is an indicator that the car has stolen parts that would cause your registration application to be rejected.
