City hosts Webinar On Application Process For NEF’s Fetola Enterprise Development Fund

The City of Ekurhuleni in partnership with the National Empowerment Fund will host a webinar to unpack the application process and procedure of the NEF’s Fetola Enterprise Development Fund on Monday, 29 March at 11h00.

Ekurhuleni and the National Empowerment Fund (NEF) established the Fetola Enterprise Development Fund – a supplier and enterprise development partnership that aims to stimulate township and rural economic growth for the benefit of black businesses in the City.

Loan funding will be provided to businesses from R250 000 and above for start-up, expansion and equity acquisition in businesses across all sectors of the economy.

The fund aims to empower enterprises that are:

  • Black-owned and managed business or industrialists;
  • A commercially viable business;
  • Are tax compliant and CIPC registered;
  • Located in the City of Ekurhuleni.

The fund is a component of the Ekurhuleni 10- Point Economic Plan – which is the footprint of the regional economy’ stimulus and economic relief programme to drive the local economic development and transformation agenda for the benefit of the community of Ekurhuleni.
