Drone Incubator Programme Empowers Ekurhuleni Youth

Fourteen Ekurhuleni youth are set to realizie their dreams of becoming qualified drone pilots through the Drone Start-up Accelerator Programme that will be launched on Friday, 28 February 2020.

The Drone Start-up Accelerator Programme is delivered in partnership with Ekurhuleni West College, Small Enterprise Development Agency, The National Youth Development Agency and the Royal HaskoningDHV engineering company.

Out of the 40 start-ups that participated in the initial phase of the programme, 14 successfully qualified for the next phase of 20-week incubation.

During the 20-week incubation, the start-ups will have learnt to serve the market and to develop solutions to the drone industry.
