IDP Public Meeting Tonight In Brakpan

Members of the public have until 29 April to comment on the City’s 2021 – 2022 reviewed IDP and 2021/22 – 2022/23 municipal budget. Brakpan is under the spotlight tonight when the public meeting is held at 16h00 at Brakpan Customer Care Centre’s Banquet Hall.

Mayoral Committee Member Cllr Phelisa Nkunjana will address the public and talk reviewed IDP and Budget and also discuss proposed projects for Brakpan area. These include tarring and upgrading of roads, storm water and paving, speed humps and other traffic calming measures. It will also talk to electrification projects and upgrading of local parks, stadia, sport fields, swimming pools, lakes and libraries.

The draft budget and IDP documents can be viewed on the City’s website on www.ekurhuleni.gov.za and comments to reach the City by 29 April 2021 on budgettips@ekurhuleni.gov.za.
