Validity of Driver’s Licences Extended

Is or will your licence expire during the period 26 March – 31 December?

The good news is that they are still valid, with the validity period extended until 31 August 2021.

This applies to learner’s licenses, driving licence cards, temporary driving licences and professional driving permits.

The validity period was initially planned to expire on 31 December 2020, but has now been further extended to end on the 31 August 2021.

Motorists are encouraged to book to renew their before the grace period ends.
