Scam Alert!!! ️

Please be aware of a message doing the rounds and encouraging people to visit Benoni Customer Care Centre (CCC) to register for 30000 job opportunities with the CoE.

Youth (18 – 35 years of age) are told to visit the CCC between 8am and 3pm on 29, 30 and 31 April, and take their ID/certified copy of ID with.

The message goes on to say ‘even those without matric are welcome’, and encourages people to send the message to those not on social media. It says, ‘Hope to see most young people of Wattville taking this opportunity by the City of Ekurhuleni’.

The message is said to come from the Youth Sector Head, Thabo, and lists 0762322044 as the contact number.

This is a scam and the City distances itself from it.
