Vandals Are Putting Lives in Danger
The City calls on residents to join hands in the fight against vandalism of street lights.
About 10 street lights along Rev RTJ Namane Drive in Thembisa have been vandalised and copper wires stolen.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the vandalising of the street lights was carried out by a syndicate targeting the copper wire.
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) and the South African Police Services are investigating different cases of destruction of property across the City.
