MMC Xhakaza Thanks Customers for Paying Bills

Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) responsible for Finance, Economic Development and ICT, Cllr Doctor Xakhaza, has expressed gratitude to ratepayers for constantly paying their municipal bills.

“Amid the COVID-19 challenges, the City would like to take this opportunity to thank both business and residents for paying their bills and encourage those who are struggling to keep up with their payments to come forward and make necessary arrangements to avoid services disconnections,” the MMC said.

There are various platforms that can used as payment points:

  • All major banks
  • Internet banking
  • At retail shops including Pick `n Pay, Spar, Shoprite, Checkers and Makro
  • Through Siyakhokha digital platform, www.siyakhokha.ekurhuleni.gov.za
  • As well . any of the 20 customer care centres (CCCs)

Payment of municipal bills is encouraged to avoid service disconnections.
