SOUTH AFRICA’S LARGEST LPG CYLINDER PLANT OPENED IN EKURHULENI

The Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Developmental Planning and Real Estate, Ald. Nomadlozi Nkosi, joined Tianlong owner Wang Shaoyan in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the cutting-edge Tianlong LPG Cylinder Manufacturing Plant in Dunswart, Boksburg today, 21 October 2025.

The state-of-the-art facility will produce LPG cylinders serving the entire Southern African Development Community (SADC) region, significantly enhancing regional energy capacity and driving industrial growth.

Speaking at the ceremony MMC Nkosi said: “This project is a perfect match for our Aerotropolis City Vision – advancing energy security, creating jobs, boosting export competitiveness, and fostering inclusive growth. We look forward to the many opportunities it will unlock for SMMEs, local suppliers, and township communities.
