AWARENESS CAMPAIGN ON DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

In response to the rise in reported cases of domestic violence in recent weeks, officers from the EMPD visited the John Dube Settlement in Duduza on Sunday, 12 February, to educate residents on the scourge of gender-based violence (GBV).

The campaign educates members of the community on how social ills such as domestic violence as well as abuse against women and children can have a negative impact on society. They were also given safety tips.

Such educational campaigns continue across the City.
