CITY OF EKURHULENI WELCOMES ARREST IN MURDER CASE OF MPHO MAFOLE

The City of Ekurhuleni welcomes the arrest of a suspect linked to the murder of our late Divisional Head: Forensic and Investigations, Mr. Mpho Mafole.

The city commends the South African Police Service, the EMPD and the Hawks for their swift action and ongoing determination to ensure that justice is served. It is the city’s belief that this is a major breakthrough on the matter and we sincerely hope that everyone involved is captured and brought to book.

Mr. Mafole’s dedication. integrity and accountability set a high standard for all city officials. His loss remains deeply felt by colleagues, residents of Ekurhuleni and the entire country alike.
