Drug Dealers Arrested
The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department`s Drug Unit officers arrested two members of the public suspected of dealing in drugs on Thursday the 8th of April 2021.
According to officer Kobeli Mokheseng, “two suspects were napped during a routine patrol in Katlehong when they were stopped and frisked only to fine that they were in possession of dagga and nyaope”.
The pair, aged 26 and 32 nabbed around 10 am in Moleleki section of the area had with them daggga estimated to be worth R4000 as well as R618 in cash believed to be collected unlawfully. They will appear in the Palmridge Magistrate court in due course where they will be facing charges of being in possession and dealing in illicit substance.
