Female Speedster Arrested For Clocking 145km/H

Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department (EMPD) arrested a motorist for reckless and negligent driving in Dawn Park on 13 January.

Kobeli Mokheseng, Acting Spokesperson for the EMPD, said the 52-year-old was clocked at 145km/h on the R554 which is zoned 100km/h.

Mokheseng says the motorist, facing charges of reckless and negligent driving, was detained at Dawn Park police station and granted R1 000 bail. She is expected to appear in the Vosloorus Magistrate’s Court soon.
