Suspects Arrest for Tempering with the City’s Infrastructure

Three suspect will appear in court after they caught tempering with infrastructure in Elsburg.

On Monday, 15 June 2021, the anti-cable theft team was patrolling the area when they spotted three men tempering with the mini substation next to the Brug and Van Reebeck Road in the area.

The men were arrested on the spot for tempering with essential infrastructure.

The three men were found with tools that is suspected to have been used in this crime and were arrested on the sport.

It is suspected that the men were trying to illegal add connections to the electricity grid of the City.

The illegal connections are the main course of infrastructure damage and prolonged power outages.
