Three Alleged Drug Dealers Nabbed In Brakpan
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested three male suspects for possession of narcotics worth more than R40k in Brakpan on 24 August.
Members of DEU on a crime prevention operation arrested two suspicious-looking characters, aged 25 and 26, on Wenden Road. The duo were handcuffed after officers found eight Ziploc bags of heroin, a portable digital scale, 145.83gr of khat, valued at R35 350, and R700 cash.
Meanwhile on Station Road a 53-year-old was arrested after 17.52gr of khat substance, valued at R5 700, was seized.
The trio facing charges of possession and possible dealing in illicit substances were marched to Brakpan police station and are expected to appear in court soon.
