Winterfeed Stocked Up For All City-Owned Animals

The winter season is upon us. The same way human beings thrive on food for comfort and warmth, animals also need food to develop body warmth.

Therefore, the City has stocked up on tons of bales for winterfeed for all animals in the City’s nature reserves.

To ensure that animals never run out of their food, the City has procured in large numbers grass bales, lucern bales and pellets for goats and sheep.

The food is safely stored up at the city’s Boksburg Parks depot from where it will be distributed to all facilities where city-owned animals are kept.
