BEAT THE MENTAL HEALTH STIGMA, GET HELP AT LOCAL CLINIC

In marking the mental Health Awareness Month (July), the City of Ekurhuleni is hosting an awareness event at Leondale Clinic on Friday, 15 July to inform residents about the mental health services in its clinics.

The city has resident mental health practitioners in all health facilities, including at Leondale Clinic where the event will be held.

Studies show that only about 15% of persons with mental health conditions receive treatment, mainly due to the stigma associated with mental health.
