Our health facilities are geared up in responding to covid19 cases however, non-compliance is what causes numbers to rise. The responsibility rests with us because the virus does not move but people do, said the MMC.
The MMC further called for active citizenship and urge Ekurhuleni resident to call those who do not adhere to order, as it takes small gestures of asking a friend or neighbour to wear their mask properly.
Ekurhuleni health facilities offer free covid19 tests, and during the time the results are at the lab, residents are requested to self-isolate until they get their test results.
