Inform Personnel at the Entrance When Coming for Covid Test

Ekurhuleni health practitioners urge residents visiting clinics for a free COVID-19 test not to sit in the waiting area, but to report directly to the health personnel at the entrance for assistance.

“As part of the City’s precautionary measures to curb the further spread of COVID-19, a patients visiting the clinic for a COVID-19 test need to tell the healthcare worker at the entrance so they are taken to an isolated room or tent where they will be tested,” said MMC for Health and Social Services Cllr Nomadlozi Nkosi.

The MMC further explained that this procedure is followed at all health facilities in the City to ensure patients coming to the clinic receive adequate assistance.
