Mass Covid-19 Screening and Testing Ongoing

Mass screening and testing are ongoing across the City in the fight against COVID-19.

The City has, by 8 April, visited 19 areas with over 600 people screened and tested in Barcelona alone in one day.

Healthcare teams run door-to-door screening, COVID-19 testing as well as distribute information pamphlets in an educational drive. All residents are targeted, especially the vulnerable, pregnant, elderly, those with chronic pulmonary disease, disabled and non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

These activations continue in the fight against COVID-19 and to educate people on the disease that has already claimed more than 1.m lives across the globe.
