Mayor Masina to Hand over PPEs to Clinics and Visit Centenarian Liberation Struggle Heroine for 109 Birthday

As the fight against the COVID-19 continues, Executive Mayor of Ekurhuleni Cllr Mzwandile Masina will on 12 February launch the distribution programme of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the City’s 77 clinics for healthcare workers. The distribution of the PPE will be to complement the PPE already provided to the City’s healthcare staff. The distribution launch will be held at Wanneburg Clinic in Primrose, Germiston.

On completion of the launch, Mayor Masina will spend the day with liberation struggle veteran Gogo Pulane Moleleki, who turns 109 on 14 February, at her home in Katlehong.

MMC for Community Safety Cllr Phaladi Mmoko will officiate a hand over of PPE at Thembisa Healthcare Centre while MMC for Infrastructure Services Cllr Masele Madihlaba will officiate a hand over at Daveyton East Clinic.
