NATIONAL EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICE DAY CELEBRATION

The Gauteng Department of Health and the City of Ekurhuleni commemorated National Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Day at Bertha Gxowa Hospital in Germiston on Friday, 28 October 2022.

Leading the commemoration was Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Health in Gauteng Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko, seen in a reflector, who unveiled a new fleet of specialised emergency vehicles and spent some time with the team to acknowledge them for their hard work. Amongst the vehicles unveiled was the EMS Obstetrics Ambulance, custom-designed for the delivery of babies in transit.
