Officials to Reinforce COVID-19 Safety Messages
With the festive season upon us, family gatherings and parties are scheduled, the City of Ekurhuleni will continue to reinforce the Lockdown Level 1 regulations during December.
“The festive season is a joyous time when a lot of social gathering will be held, it is during this time that health official will strengthening their strides to fight the spread of Covid-19 by making sure residents remember to take precautionary measures,” said Member of Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Health and Social Services Cllr Nomadlozi Nkosi.
The ward-based intervention team conducting screening, public education and awareness will visit various areas across Ekurhuleni conducting door-to-door interaction with the community encouraging residents to continue adhering to the lockdown Level 1 regulations and reiterating the importance of wearing a mask, hand hygiene and practicing social distancing.
