VACCINE ROLLOUT TO EXPAND TO PEOPLE WHO ARE OVER 50-YEARS-OLD

The City encourages residents who are between 50 and 59 years old to register for the Covid-19 vaccine.

“We are pleased as a City that the vaccine rollout will be extended to more people. This means more of our citizens will receive the jab,” said the MMC for Health and Social Services Cllr Nomadlozi Nkosi.

Registration will open on Thursday, 1 July and vaccination will start on Tuesday, 15 July.

Residents can register for COVID-19 vaccine by using any of the following methods:

  1. WhatsApp the word “REGISTER” to 060 012 3456
  2. Dial *134*832*IDNumber#
  3. If you have no ID number dial *134*832#
  4. Register online https://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za
