ALLIANCE HOUSING PROJECT IN SPRINGS PROGRESSING WELL, LINDELANI RESIDENTS TO BENEFIT

The Alliance Extension 6-13 Mega-Housing Project, in Springs, which has an expected yield of 1 639 housing units, will benefit mainly residents of Lindelani informal settlement.

Other beneficiaries that are not residing in Lindelani informal settlement will also be considered in line with the city and provincial housing allocation policies, such as those in emergency need of housing

Currently, 677 housing units have been built and allocated to their rightful owners.

Last week on 18 July, during the commemoration of Mandela Day, Mayor Ald. Nkosindiphile Xhakaza and MMC for Human Settlements Cllr Kgopelo Hollo visited the project and handed over additional houses to the beneficiaries.
