CITY OF EKURHULENI HANDS OVER 100 TITLE DEEDS

Member of the Mayoral Committee for Human Settlements Alderman Alco Ngobese handed over title deeds to 100 beneficiaries of Thinasonke extensions 3 and 4 today, 10 February.

“The time has finally come for residents who have been waiting for years to acquire title deeds to their homes. Title deeds will give you a security of tenure over your houses and a guarantee to leave a legacy to your descendants.

“We urge all recipients of title deeds to treasure them,” MMC Ngobese said.

Thembi Makwarela (84), who is one of the beneficiaries from Thinasonke, said she has not felt this happy in a very long time.

“I have been anxiously waiting for my title deed, and I am therefore overjoyed. This will enable me to do renovations which I have been longing to do for a long time,” Makwarela said.
