City to Consult the Public on New Tarrifs for Rental Housing

Public consultations on the new rental tariffs for council-owned rental housing stock, as resolved by Council on 25 July 2020, is now open for comments.

The new rental tariffs propose escalation of rent payable to be capped at a maximum margin of 5.9% per annum for 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.  

A syndicated live community radio broadcast and on the City’s social media platforms takes place on Wednesday, 9 September 2020, from 18:h00 to 19h00.  The syndicate broadcast will be live and streamed on Kasie FM, EK FM and Eden Radio.
