OVER 400 TITLE DEEDS HANDED OVER

The City of Ekurhuleni is intensifying the handover of title deeds to residents of the City. On Monday, 5 September, 460 title deeds were issued to residents of Palm Ridge.

The latest development adds to 1 110 title deeds that were handed over in the same area in July 2022.

Samuel Mthethwa (76) and Isaiah Mokoena (86), who is visually impaired, were among the 460 residents to receive their title deeds. 

“Now I safely and confidently say that I own my house. Thanks to the government for making this a reality,” said Mr Mthethwa.

The City will continue distributing title deeds in an effort to ensure that locals enjoy the security of tenure.
