ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE ELECTION OF THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR IN THE CITY OF EKURHULENI

The Office of the Speaker in the City of Ekurhuleni, would like to announce, the election of Ald. Nkosindiphile Xhakaza as the newly elected Executive Mayor in the City of Ekurhuleni, as announced in the Extra-Ordinary Council Meeting held today, 11 April 2024.

Ald. Xhakaza was the sole nominee for the position in council and was elected unopposed.

The Office of the Speaker would like to congratulate and welcome the newly elected Executive Mayor and wish him well as he takes up his new responsibilities.
